The fire of God will come upon us to burn out the chaff and the things that cover up the places where the enemy can hide. Then the enemy can be exposed and you can eradicate him out of your emotions, your thoughts, and you can be filled with the pureness, and the goodness of God. Have you ever felt miserable, hopeless, doubt, unbelief, anger, bitterness? That's all covering where the enemy comes in and twists within your soul. The fire of God comes and exposes the enemy and you can deal with it, get rid of it, and be filled fresh and new with the life and goodness of God.
"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things," Colossians 3:2 (NIV).
There are three kingdoms you can focus on: God's Kingdom, the enemy's kingdom, and your own kingdom. If you think right, you're going to live right. Think right, live right. Your own right thinking keeps you in God's best!
"Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm," Colossians 3:2 (TPT).
The natural realm is trying to pull you into worry and unbelief - it's trying to overwhelm you. But you can dwell on a higher realm. You are the most blessed people on the face of the earth if you know Jesus Christ! You don't have to dwell in a lesser realm, you can dwell in a higher realm. Jesus endured the cross so we can walk in the Kingdom of God while I'm on earth. I don't have to wait until I croak to appreciate and enjoy the Kingdom of God. I can do it now! How? By taking your thoughts off earthly things and putting your thoughts on Godly things.
Heavenly realities are the Kingdom of God realities - they're interchangeable. Be aware of this truth: although you're in this world, you're not limited to this natural realm. The Kingdom of God, heavenly reality, created this natural world. "Feast on the treasures of the heavenly realm." The Kingdom of God realities and treasures are bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. You don't earn them. You receive them.
The Kingdom of God is a believing and declaring Kingdom. Did you know that the Kingdom of God is voice activated, and it's your voice that activates it in your life? I don't know what the natural realm is throwing at you, but greater is He that is in you than he that is in this world (1 John 4:4)!
The Kingdom test: What kingdom are you going to dwell on?
"Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again,'" John 3:3 (NIV).
This is why it's so important to give your life to Jesus Christ. If you haven't truly given your heart to Jesus Christ, you can't see the Kingdom of God reality. That's Jesus speaking. The Bible says that He died on the cross to take away my sin and rose from the dead to make me righteous. That's the Kingdom reality. I don't focus on my sin, on my unrighteousness, I focus on what the Word says I have: I'm sinless and I am righteous! If you believe and receive Jesus Christ - then you can see the Kingdom of God. That's the only way to the Father.
Say this: "Because of Christ's redemption (redemption means that He paid for my sins by His blood and rose again so I can be right) therefore, in Christ, I am a new creation of great worth. I am deeply loved. I am completely forgiven. I am fully pleasing. I am totally accepted by God. I am absolutely complete in Christ!" Set your mind on things above, not on the earthly realm. The enemy's kingdom will always try to get you to feel lower than a worm. You're not under the snakes belly- you have the authority to smash him (Luke 10:19)! Start declaring the Kingdom - it will change your life! The Kingdom of God is voice activated, and you activate it in your life!
Prayer For Salvation
If you haven't received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I want to give you an opportunity to do that today. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
Pray this: "Jesus, you are Lord. I believe that you died on the cross, taking my sin and shame upon you. I believe that you rose again so that I can be righteous. Forgive me of my sin, cleanse me of my unrighteousness. Make me new. I give my heart and life to You, Lord. Fill me with joy and peace. Amen."
If you prayed that for the first time, or you've been away from the Lord and have just recommitted your life to God, we'd love to connect with you and help you take your next step. Click here to contact us, and let us know!
