The Holy Spirit + God’s Word = Eternal Abundant Life
BY PASTOR ED LANGELIERS | NEW LIFE EXECUTIVE PASTOR
“But when we die we will be face-to-face with Christ…” Hebrews 9:28 (TPT).
Selah: pause and think on this for a moment. Now read Hebrews 9:28 again.
Jesus told us in John 14:16 that He would pray the Father, and He would send another Comforter to be with us forever. The Holy Spirit is here to help us follow Jesus Christ our Lord because someday we each will stand before Him, face to face!
In John 10:10 Jesus says: “…But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!”
Jesus also asked the Father to send the Holy Spirit so we could have abundant life on earth.
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers,” Psalm 1:2-3 (NASB).
“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success,” Joshua 1:8 (NASB).
God had the Holy Spirit inspire men to write down His Words, thus creating the Bible. We need to meditate on Bible all the time, every day.
Psalms 119:165 says, “Those who love Your law have great peace and nothing causes them to stumble!”
We need the Holy Spirit to help us live God’s Word because as we live in God’s Word we will walk in life in its fullness until we overflow.
The Holy Spirit + God’s Word = Eternal Abundant Life!
I’m a believer, not a doubter.
I’ve come to receive revelation and insight, wisdom and understanding from God’s Word.
I fully expect the Holy Spirit to bear witness with my spirit concerning the revelation of the Word, learning how to apply it in my life on an everyday basis.
(This declaration is taken from Charles Capp.)
God bless you— have an eternal abundant day!
One who experienced death once for all to bear the sins of many!
And now to those who eagerly await Him,
He will appear a second time; not to deal with sin, but to bring us the fullness of salvation.
